Went to the Nine Inch Nails concert last night. Most amazing show anyone could have ever seen. I was going to make a long write up, but anything I write about the concert would probably only dull it down.

Another editorial / rant is online, about mp3s and napster.

Nine Inch Nails concert tomorrow, I'm so excited.

Asspress should be out in a few weeks, and I heard that a local radio station Edge102 will be getting a copy. I'm on the CD, so I might get a bit of air time on indie hour.

Wrote up an editorial on women. You might like it, you might understand it, but if you're a woman, you'll disagree.

Ok, I recently finished Deus ex Machina, but not really..... it's almost like an ongoing project. Remeber where this name came from? Yes, it shares the name with the new Pumpkins album, and with the new video game, but I'm not sure if I should rename it. Deus ex Machina is such a fitting name for this track. Jay thinks that what I've done to this track is amazing, and I wanna keep going. I don't know how to end it (or when). I
could end it now if I really wanted to, but it could be so much more. Right now, the track is 6:03 minutes, but, it's going to be longer, and it's almost NEVER repetitive. I've only reused about 7 patterns in the whole song of 128. Bass is used sparingly.

In other news, I'm moving to Ajax, mom signed the papers today. I'm going to build my home studio there.

What? An update? I'm almost as surprised as you are, if you're actually reading this. Then again, maybe I'm amusing enough to get you to visit every day, even without updates. Probably not, though. Well, I'm going to make a few changes to that way things run here. This will not be an 'only musical updates' page, rather, a journal. You want musical updates? Ok, well, a lot has been going on, so I'm adding more to the about page, a section devoted to musical completions, and works.

What else? Lately, I've been praising a group named Kittie. I've been telling everyone they've been getting massive radioplay, they're in high school, they're unsigned, and they're Canadian (from London, Ontario, I believe). I bought the CD, the first metal CD I've bought in over five years, and it's almost 40 minutes long. At the first listen, all the songs sound very familiar, but a few listens, and you see that the songs are actually damn diverse. I suggest you all buy a Kittie CD. If anyone of the members reads this....... you guys ROCK, and you are all very BEAUTIFUL.

I'm practically finished a song called Zoblica. It's an awesome combination of a sluggish back-beat and lots and lots of distortion.

I've got 4 songs totally done, 2 of which are new, and will have vocals in about a month or 2. Be prepared.

Yeah. I'm working on 2 new songs, one tentatively titled "Addiction", the other...a surprise. Anyway, this will be some of my best work yet.

Updated my editorial too.

MP3.com finally has "Progressive Tendencies" online. It's my best work to-date, and definitely worth the download.

Alright, I've got the beta version of my site up, thanks to the Incredibly Clever And Professional Design Company (Yes, I like it so much I gave them a needless plug). The interface looks great, very much to the feel of the entity that is I, apocryptii. I am pleased, to say the least. What you'll be seeing on my site are updates of current projects, I'll review music of other people, and give my harsh opinions on society... sounds like fun, eh? Yep, Canadian to the core.
